How do you recover from a bad break-up? The proverbial pint of ice cream? Quality time alone? Going out with friends? What are your personal healing strategies?
I try not to be alone too much. When I'm alone, I am immediately immersed in thoughts that only revolve around the one and only. If I must be alone for whatever reason, I play video games or read or sleep. Anything to distract me. If possible, I hang out with friends. Friends are more than often the best distraction. Hopefully, after some time has passed, I won't be as hurt by the break-up, and the healing part will maybe take care of itself..
